Hæmatospermi is a condition in which there was blodtilblanding in sædvæsken by the trigger. Blodtilblandingen can be seen as fresh blood or some rust red strokes. It is seen most frequently aged 30-50 years. Very rarely caused by the cancer of the prostate or urethra, but far more common cause is unknown, and the bleeding is meaningless.
Typical mode disappears within 3-4 months and require no treatment. If it persists, there should be kikkertundersøgelse of the urethra. It is important to distinguish the condition from blood in the urine, which can be caused by cancer of the bladder and therefore should be further explored.
